Baden Cantonal Hospital (KSB) has roots that go far back into the Middle Ages. Queen Agnes of Hungary founded a hospital in 1349, which has kept pace with medical developments ever since. The driving force behind this was innovation. This still characterizes the KSB today. Be it the construction of the Kubus day clinic, which focuses on outpatient services, or the Partnerhaus, with which KSB has further strengthened its role as a hub for integrated care in the east of the canton of Aargau. The KSB Health Innovation Hub, in turn, tests ideas to sustainably improve the healthcare system. These ideas also contribute to the optimization of operations in the new CHF 580 million “Agnes” building, which will go into operation at the beginning of 2025. This ongoing modernization of the infrastructure will ensure that KSB remains a place of health in the future.
